The process of designing the web site will be a
collaboration between us. We will gather as much information from
you as possible and collate and process this into the final web
design.
Internet users will not spend time on your site if it is too complex and
difficult to navigate. DancerWeb sites are therefore designed to be clear and easy
to use. They catch the users attention and encourage people to look further.
Information gathering
The first step is to gather as much information about your school and your current activities such as classes, competitions, news and events. This also includes deciding what theme, colour scheme, style, photos and graphics you prefer and so on.
Web site plan
For more complex sites, once we have gathered as much information as possible we will create a web site map or overall plan of how your site will fit together.
Sample page
After discussing and agreeing a site map we will create sample pages that you will be able to view via the DancerWeb site. We will often ask for feedback during the web design process to ensure you are happy with all the design features.
Final changes and go live
After viewing the sample pages and making your comments we will then add these to the site. When we are both satisfied with the result we will put your site "live".
